James “JB” Brown, a retired NFL veteran, boasts a distinguished 12-season career as a cornerback with the Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, and Detroit Lions. In 2013, he took on a pivotal role in the NFL Legends Community as the Northeast Coordinator and Legend Ambassador, spearheading regional outreach efforts to benefit the well-being of NFL Alumni.
JB is a passionate advocate for heart health, focusing on preventive men’s health, cardiovascular risk assessments, and early detection initiatives. He plays a crucial role in recruiting, training, and coordinating NFL Alumni nationwide to support these efforts through Newsome Parks’ Community outreach programs. JB holds a degree from the University of Maryland College Park, and his leadership and dedication are invaluable assets to Newsome Park Strategies.
